Sullivan and Cogliano Training Centers Appreciates Teacher’s Day

Students at computer work stations, the closes student is smiling and giving a thumbs up. The text on the image says Thanks to our amazing teachers. The impact a good teacher has on our lives is priceless and often immeasurable. Many people, even in adulthood, appreciate teachers who improved or changed their lives when they were growing up. But not everyone has what it takes to be a teacher; that’s why it’s important to let our teachers know how much they’ve helped us. Of course, there is the national Teacher’s Appreciation Day each year, but our teachers are appreciated every day.

At Sullivan and Cogliano Training Centers, we receive from our students beautiful, heartfelt comments literally every day. In them, the most common sentiments reflect on our valued teacher’s knowledge, friendliness and most of all caring. Miami Gardens’ student, Maria C. said she especially appreciates, “The way they help and have the patience to teach us and help us understand something that we have trouble with.”

Gratitude and Compliments

Barbara C. was practically overflowing with gratitude and compliments for her teachers, saying “I must express my gratitude for your extremely kind considerations and the efforts you take to prepare us for the job world. You are an inspiration to me, and I want you to know that I listen to every detail you bring to us. I have learned so much since I’ve been here, and I want you to know that I am going to do everything I am supposed to at this institution to make you all proud. I pray that God will continue to use you in this area of our development. You are a blessing. Thank you.”

Felix A., a student of the Help Desk Network+, and Maria C., an Office Professional student, both noted their teachers are powerful and effective motivators. “Keep doing an excellent job,” said Felix. “Thank you to all the staff and instructors for their wonderful job. Keep motivating and supporting the students to become successful graduates.”

In addition, Maria urged her teachers to keep up the good work. “Keep motivating us to keep going, showing us that we can make it and that we will,” said Maria. “The support we receive is very attentive to our needs.”

Improved Skills

Lennys R., a Medical Office Specialist student at our Kendall campus, thanked his teachers for improving his skills and his confidence. “I have improved my computer skills thanks to Sullivan and Cogliano Training Centers’ program and instructors!”

Melissa, who takes English as a second language at Sullivan and Cogliano Training Centers, recognizes that her teachers are an important part of this educational step she is taking, “I always enjoyed sitting in on the conference call,” said Melissa. “Your knowledge and experience give me so much more confidence, knowing that, once I finish my training, I will be prepared for my new adventure.”
